MATRIX Cutover Postponed
The New York State Alliance of MLS's announces a new timeline for our Matrix cutover. This decision is based on reviewing the progress of the membership accessing the updated system including back office and website vendors.

The new planned date for our cutover to Matrix will be after July 5th.

The additional 7 weeks allows the MLS member to continue their training (including 'hands-on' classes) and have an extended opportunity to use the live Matrix system prior to cutover. Each MLS is offering extra training options during this extension period. Change is never easy, and we recognize that this is not the best time to make a major change. We are confident, however, that once the initial transition is over, you will love Matrix.  The Matrix system is the Industry Standard MLS Software that is used by over 600,000 agents in North America.
MATRIX and Your Website
Action Required for Your Site to Continue to Work

All websites, virtual office websites, and back office systems involving an MLS listing data feed need to be updated in order to continue to receive listing data beyond the final cutover to Matrix after July 5th.

If you have an IDX/Website/Back Office vendor, please make sure they are on file with us. CoreLogic has contacted them about the change to Matrix.

If we do not have your vendor on file (perhaps you've changed vendors and didn't update the information with your MLS), it is likely that they are unaware that the MLS feed to your website will change after July 5.

Please check in with your vendor!

If you haven't already done so, it's important that you contact your vendor asap to determine if they are aware of the change to Matrix.  If you learn that your vendor has not heard from CoreLogic about the change to Matrix, contact your MLS immediately.  Please include your vendor's name and contact information.  We will promptly be in touch with your vendor to provide the information they need to know.

Matrix FAQ's
  1. Input (Add/Edit) Listings - The input function will not be available for testing in Matrix before cutover as previously announced.
  2. An Instanet link will be added before cutover.
  3. Your Contacts from Fusion/MLX have been imported into Matrix.  Contacts edited (or deleted) in Matrix will not be overwritten by the old version from Fusion/MLX.  Now is a good time to check that all your contacts are in Matrix. Go to My Matrix, Contacts to find them.
  4. In addition to Contacts, you'll notice that your Saved Searches from Fusion/MLX have also been imported into Matrix (Go to My Matrix, Saved Searches). At this time, you can also review your Saved Searches in Matrix and make updates to them. Like contacts, once a Saved Search has been edited or deleted in Matrix, it will not be overwritten by Fusion/MLX. Learn how to activate your saved searches into Auto-Emails in Matrix.
  5. Updated Schedule:
    • April 4 - After July 5: Parallel Period
      • During the Parallel Period, you will have access to both MLX/Fusion and Matrix for searching and daily use.  New listings will continue to be created in MLX/Fusion throughout this transition period.
      • IDX/Website vendors will use this time to adjust data feeds for your website and apps.
      • Training will take place during this time.
    • After July 5: Final Conversion to Matrix
      1. Listing input will take place in Matrix only.
      2. MLX/Fusion will remain in a search-able (read-only) mode for about 30 days.
