In the past few days our office has received a number of calls asking if we know of any Department of State action against one of our member firms, The Young Agency. I have spoken to both David Young and representatives from the Department of State and can verify that there are no active or complaints with the DOS against this firm. The DOS feels that The Young Agency was the victim of a hoax and is taking action to determine who may have been responsible. This is not the first instance of this type of hoax in NY, and they are doing what they can to find more information.
