SupraHANDLING OPEN HOUSES IN MLS TIP
From time to time we get questions about Open Houses and what the different types mean in MLS.  Here is a synopsis.
Open House Type:
*    MLS Wide means that any member of the MLS can tour the house (Broker Open).
*    Office would mean only your own Office will see tour and can tour the house.
*    Public means anybody is welcome.

ARTICLE2HANDLING OPEN HOUSES WITH MULTIPLE DATES
While MLXchange/Fusion allows the user to enter multiple upcoming open house dates, only the closest future date shows on HomeSteadNet.com until midnight that night when it drops off and the next open house date shows.  When both dates are the same weekend (ex. Saturday & Sunday), this can be problematic. To get around this, the 'Open House Time' field in MLS allows up to 50 characters and can be used to advertise additional days open. This should not take the place of adding that additional day as a separate open house. Note: all these characters may not be visible on MLXchange/Fusion when viewing the listing but will transfer over to HomeSteadNet.com.

Ex.: If a property was being held open on the 30th and 31st, you could enter the Open House Date for the first open as "May 30th" and the time as: "12-2pm and May 31, 12-2pm."  On HomeSteadNet.com, it would look like this: Open House: May 30, 12-2pm and May 31, 12-2pm.
