NAR 2015 PUBLIC POLICY PRIORITIES

The National Association of REALTORS® advocates policy initiatives that promote and protect a fundamentally sound and dynamic U.S. real estate market fostering vibrant communities in which to live and work. This year, NAR will be focused on the following public policy initiatives:

NYSAR 2015 LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES
NYSAR works to promote legislation beneficial to REALTORS®,  property ownership and  the real estate industry. We advocate before the governor's office, legislature and state agencies including the Department of State in support of legislation to make the housing marketplace stronger and our members' business more profitable.  View NYSAR's 2015 Legislative Priorities

NAR SUPPORTS MANUFACTURED HOUSING

The Preserving Access to Manufactured Housing Act preserves the manufactured housing industry without deterioration of important consumer protections.  This bill clarifies the difference between manufactured housing manufacturers and loan originators, and insures that low-dollar manufactured housing loans are exempt from HOEPA standards.
