Second Annual TechKNOWPalooza Follow-up
|
Wow! Our second TechKNOWPalooza came and went last week. The overwhelming support of our members, volunteers and sponsors made this year's event another big success. We had a variety of great speakers and a lot of hot topics. Members left the event feeling ready to put their new skills to work. Over the coming issues, we will plan to share some nuggets of info learned from these sessions. To start, here is a link to the slideshow presented by our keynote Speaker, Danielle Hueston and a list of apps we discussed in one or more sessions. Members of the TechKNOWPalooza Task Force were involved in recruiting speakers, selling sponsorships, selling tickets, sitting through no less than a half-dozen meetings plus working the day of the event. If you see any of the following members of the task force or day of event volunteers, please pat them on the back or thank them for their contribution to your Association. They are: Kristina Adolph, Bill Fanning, Christina Feck, Gayle Gallo, Rosemarie Gutierrez, Andy Kachaylo, Esther Krakower, Jeremias Maneiro (Event Co-Chair), Cindy Moriarty, Mike O'Connor, Diane Russi, Sylvia Ryndock, Mary Shelsby (Event Co-Chair), Mary St. George, Jane Sweetland, Martha Vega, Joanne Wells, Cathy Wyble and Pete Zizzi.

Learn More About RPR
|
Two of the most well received session at last week's TechKNOWPalooza were on RPR. There are so many features to learn about this valuable free resource, that NAR has developed a new webinar series designed to focus on just a single topic. These 30-minute webinars show members how to use RPR to meet the needs of your different clients. In addition to the short class, students can also download class notes and slides, as well as view short on-demand tutorials.
Presenter Veronica McManus has sent links to some of the new sessions:
