Q. How come I can't open the new lockboxes some days with my eKey phone app and I can at other times?

A. This is common to some smart phones and has to do with whether you leave your car running or not when you are trying to communicate with your iBox BT LE.  When a car that has Bluetooth is running, and the phone is paired with the car, it may not be able to access the box too. just turn the car off and try again.

With today's technology and competition, there is no doubt that most of us spend time at night on our phones, laptops, televisions, even tablets. Most of us can feel the eye-strain from overuse of these devices; yet, not many people know the negative effects that they have on a person's body when used at night time. This article covers information about those negative effects on our bodies and recommendations on how to prevent them.

Are You Complying With the New Advertising Guidelines? 
As you know, the new Department of State Advertising Guidelines are now in effect.  We have had many calls from members who would like us to change their name and or middle initial in our system to match their license.  In addition, don't forget to check out your 'Contact Information' in MLXchange or Fusion (whichever you use).  That information is personalized by the member and you may have changed this at some point so best to check and be sure as this Contact Info will show in your Agent Web page if you are using in MLX/Fusion and also on HomeSteadNet.com.  Here is how to check (just need to check in one or the other MLS system, and the changes will carry through to the other):
  • MLXchange 
    • Go to Settings
    • Personalize
    • Contact Information
    • Click on Save when all done. 
  • Fusion
    • Go to Tools
    • Website Management
    • Click on the Branding Tab, then My Profile.   
    • Make sure to click on 'Save' up top.  
Please note that changes may take an hour to show on your agent website and will show on HomeSteadNet.com the next day.
