Greetings! 
Dear Jean,
The first month of the new year is already behind us and classes have begun donating a portion of each class to learn their recital dance. Attendance is imperative! Students missing more than 3 classes from this point on could potentially not be allowed to participate in the recital. Makeup classes are no longer productive and therefore not allowed. Please call the studio if your child will be absent.
Thanks for participating in our "Find the Dancer" contest. Congratulations to Kelly Welty! She found the dancer last month and will receive a credit on her account for 1 recital ticket!
Mid year Progress Reports will be handed out to all students in February. These reports should be used as a tool to gauge where the students' strengths are and where they may need more help. End of the Year Evaluations with the recommended classes for the following dance year will be handed out in May.
Recital Packets will be released in mid-March and recital information will be in each newsletter for the remainder of the dance year. Please read all recital news in its entirety.

Theater Camp Begins February 1st! Join now!
Josephine March and her three sisters Margaret, Amy, and Beth grow up with their mother's guidance while their father fights in the American Civil War. The vivacious quartet are very close and happy despite limited means. Laurie Laurence, the well off boy next door, takes a liking to Jo, and his tutor John Brooke eyes older sister Margaret during a party. Margaret marries Mr. Brooke but Jo rejects Laurie's proposal and moves to New York for new adventures. When Beth starts to lose her battle with Scarlet Fever Jo returns to her deathbed. Sister Amy returns married to Jo's one true love, Laurie, and we wonder if she will ever find someone to replace him. |

Frederick Fit Club Is Back!
Frederick Fit Club is a group of people who have committed to getting fit and staying accountable to each other! Did you make a resolution to get fit in 2014 too? 24/7 & Frederick Fit Club are here to help you meet those goals.
Join us every Tuesday night at 8:15-8:45-9 (depending on the workout) and get your sweat on! We are your average people just workin out together.

24/7 Acting Recitals
Join us at The Faux School on Sunday February 9th as all of our acting students perform the skills they have learned in class! The Elementary Acting Classes and Acting 1 Class will perform at 1pm. The Acting 2 and Acting 3/4 Classes will perform at 6pm. Tickets are $12 each and available at the front desk. |

Recital News...
We are already very busy preparing for recital. Each family will be given a "RECITAL 2014" Recital Booklet in mid-March. Your family must have an adult (18+) sign out a Booklet. These Booklets will contain vital information such as: photo, rehearsal & recital dates and times, procedures, helpful information, forms and much more!
Some of the information is time sensitive. Please make sure you come into the studio to get your packet in mid-March.

Recital Music
Recital Music for your child's dance class will be available for purchase at the front desk by mid March 1st. Songs are $4 for the first song and $1 for each additional song. The music available from the studio is the exact cut version that your child will be doing for recital. This is a great way for your child to practice for the recital and helps to make them comfortable with the music. Forms will be available at the front desk. (Please allow 1 week for completion).

Birthday Parties
The perfect princess party for your perfect little princess! Your princess and her guests will each receive a tutu, wand and tiara to use for the party. One of our 24/7 Dance Studio instructors will then engage the children in 45 minutes of dance, creative movement and games in one of our professional dance studios! Inclement Weather Policy
Please keep in mind that we DO NOT FOLLOW the Frederick Public Schools' snow policies. If there is inclement weather, the studio will make a decision regarding classes by 8am for all morning classes and by 2pm for all late afternoon and evening classes. A message will be put on the studio answering machine by these times and an email will be sent. In the event that the weather should take a turn for the worst during classes, a decision will be made and classes will be contacted as necessary.

Summer schedules will be available this month! Summer classes are a great time to try a new discipline or keep up with your current dance classes and the classes will run 6 weeks!
There will also be a Musical Theater Intensive, Hip Hop Workshop, Princess Camps and Diva Camps.
