FAQ

Q: Is there a list of approved products that comply with the ADAAG
that designers and contractors can select from?

A: The Department of Justice (DOJ) is the agency responsible to enforce the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design (2010 Standards), for places of public accommodations, commercial facilities and State and local government facilities under the ADA. The DOJ does not review nor approve of products for compliance.  It is the responsibility of those selecting and installing products and materials to ensure they comply with all applicable technical provisions of the 2010 Standards.
