Thank You to everyone who attended our Spring Yarn Tasting and Trunk Show!  We had such positive feedback (especially about the many garment samples) and look forward to hosting more such events in the future.  Here

We will have the garments at The Flaming Ice Cube all this week.  So if you weren't able to make it to the Yarn Tasting, you can still stop by and see the models.

The book Sock Yarn Shawls II is back in stock.  If you requested one, Ellie will be calling you this afternoon.

We will begin a new Knitting Boot Camp next Wednesday at 6pm.  Class will meet for four consecutive Wednesday evenings as we learn core knitting concepts by knitting fingerless mitts and a hat.

New Shawl / Beginning Lace Class is Tomorrow 

Ready to knit your first shawl?  Tomorrow morning at 10:30 is our new shawl class that will walk you through the Cinder pattern from the book Sock Yarn Shawls II. We will go over the garter tab cast on, using stitch markers, yarn overs, reading charts, sk2p, the importance of blocking, and more!


Plus, class participants will receive $10 off the purchase of the book Sock Yarn Shawls II

Prerequisites: Students must be comfortable knitting and purling

Materials:
- Sock-Yarn Shawls II book
- Approximately 430 yards of sock yarn
- US 4, 24" or longer circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge of 22 sts and 32 rows = 4" in st st)
- 4 stitch markers .

 

If Tuesday doesn't fit your schedule, there is also a class Thursday evening from 6 - 8 pm.
