Knitting Fresh Brioche book
World-renowned brioche knitting expert Nancy Marchant takes this versatile European stitch-which creates a luxurious, reversible ribbed fabric-to a new level! In her groundbreaking collection, Marchant works brioche in two colors, forming graceful, undulating textures with increases and decreases.

If you are new to brioche, you may be interested in taking Michele's 3-part brioche class beginning Tuesday, March 17 at 6pm.
New Building Blocks begins next week...

Building Blocks was created to move the new knitter beyond the basics by introducing the major knitting techniques in a systematic approach. Each block builds upon the skills of the previous block, allowing the knitter to gain confidence and knowledge while working toward a beautiful sampler afghan (or two baby blankets).

The 12 blocks in this project naturally lend themselves to a "Block of the Month" series. Having to complete one 12" square per month seems to suit most knitters. The time-challenged knitter is able to find enough time in the month for this amount of knitting. The prolific knitter can easily finish this block in the month and return to other projects while waiting for the next class.
