face painting
We were surprised to find out that our staff is actually pretty artistic! So, we're taking advantage of their talents this year and offering up free face painting in the café from 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM. Kids and adults alike are welcome - there's no age limit on fun.

class raffle
New knitters, old knitters, wanna-be knitters - this is your chance! We know it can get pricey trying to go to all of the great classes we have available, so this year, we're raffling off a voucher good for 6 of the knitting classes of your choice! Winners sign up for whichever 6 classes they want, and we'll waive the fee! Supplies are not included, and offer excludes Building Blocks and Building in Color.
TEA TASTING AND HORS D'OEUVRES
We'll be sampling delicious hors d'oeuvres throughout the day in the FiC lounge, as well as sipping some of our favorite teas from the Republic of Tea. This event will be held in the FiC knitting lounge from 10:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Don't miss it!

Join us in the classroom for a whole day of film screenings! We'll provide the popcorn - just bring yourself (and maybe a friend or two)!

blind yarn swap
We all know it's impossible to have too much yarn - but sometimes stashes need a little tending to nonetheless! That's why we're hosting our very first blind yarn swap - bring a skein you're bored by, take a skein you'll fall in love with!
This event will be held in the FiC knitting lounge from Noon - 1:00 PM. As always, our knowledgeable and friendly employees will be on hand if you need help figuring out what to use that new yarn for!

All the excitement got you worn down? Don't fret - we're here for you. Come relax with us in the FiC lounge after the party's over. We'll be enjoying a little coffee and dessert for one last little pick-me-up before bedtime. This event will be held in the FiC knitting lounge from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Bring your knitting!
