"And he said unto them, Come ye Yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat." Mark 6:31, (KJV)
Thank You, God, for this Holy Season. Thank You for the invitation to come aside and rest in You.
I know there are days and moments when I have not made our relationship a priority, yet You continue to prepare a place for me by You.
You call my name, so gently; bidding me to come, sit, dine, share, pray and listen. Away from the noise... away from my day... agenda... calls... e-mails... internal dialogue... and mental chatter. You remind me that You long to hear my voice and that my well being is important to You.
It is my heartfelt desire to be in the center of Your will.
It is my heartfelt desire to have my move and complete being in You.
It is my heartfelt desire for You to be pleased with and in me.
I come aside with an open heart and willing spirit. I pray You abide in every corner and space of my life and being.
Lay Your hands on me, God! Anoint me afresh! Make me over, again! Bless me, God! Rain down miracles and drench me in Your supernatural favor!
I
ncrease me, God!
I ask that You continue to feed me fresh bread from Your table. I promise I will meet You to dine.
Thank You, God, for the invitation.
Thank You, God, for this season.
Thank You, God, for Your attention.
Thank You, God, for gifting us the greatest Love of all; Your son, our brother and wayshower: Christ Jesus.
Amen.
