Dearest God

How grateful to know that You are My Source.

For so long, I did not realize that You had placed Divine "stuff" within me.

I had denied the greatness that only You could have created as me.

I crawled and did not even imagine that I could someday fly.

I wrapped myself in my story.  I bound myself tightly in my limiting beliefs and excuses.

My world as I saw it encompassed only what I could see from the ground or from within the confines of my limited perceptions and perspectives.

Yet, all along, You had another plan for my life. You had placed within me the "stuff" that would become the mechanism for me to soar above what I had mistakenly seen as my destiny.

As I wrapped myself ever more tightly, the untruths that I had bought into began to dissolve.

As I went within, I allowed myself to hear You. As I stilled myself, I began to trust You. As I rested within, I received a message - "You are greater than you know yourself to be".

As I learned to not only hear, but to listen, I got that I was meant to fly high. As, I took steps as directed by You, I realized the power within me to change.

Soon, as I received your Divine guidance, I really embraced the truth of who I am.

I captured the vision that You have for my life.

I grew beautiful wings that were a reflection of the limitless possibilities that lay before me.

Now that I have metamorphosed into the beautiful creature that You had intended, I know that my transformation is near completion.  

Yet, I also know that it is now up to me to reproduce.  It is now time for me to participate in the creation of other butterflies.

I trust the process and I am grateful for it.

Hallelujah!  Thank you, God!
