NOW THROUGH OCTOBER
Kenosha's Lone Soldier Memorial has been selected as one of only seven sites in Wisconsin for the 2013 Tour of Honor. This is a self-directed motorcycle ride through October, which benefits the Wounded Warriors Project. The memorial, at Veterans Memorial Park, features a seven-foot tall soldier created in cast bonze as its centerpiece. The work serves to commemorate all of the wars fought by the United States since 1776 as well as the total casualties of each war. The monument complements the Veterans Memorial Fountain in the same park.
