ICA at the Cleveland International Film Festival
CIFF logo purpleICA is pleased to announce our partnership with the Cleveland International Film Festival. ICA is a community partner for the film RENOIR. One of the leaders among the Impressionists, Pierre-Auguste Renoir saw the world through an altered color palette.

This film, set in the summer of 1915 in the French Riviera, gives us a look at the artist during the final years of his life. The artist is subdued with sorrow and old age until a young model Andree brings new life to his paintings. Renoir's son, Jean, returns wounded from the embattled front of WWI. Love and passion arise between Jean and Andree. Will love overthrow all, including Jean's patriotic duty to return to the war?

Be the Applause! Join the ICA April 6th-7th at Tower City Cinemas for either of the two screenings of RENOIR: 1:15 PM Saturday, April 06, 2013 and Sunday, April 07, 2013 at 6:30 PM.

Does the word "advocacy" fill you with a sense of fear or apprehension? Are you new to the idea of advocacy, but want to learn more about how to help your museum? Are you an advocacy all-star looking to sharpen your skills? Join the ICA March 21, 2013 in Cleveland for the OMA Advocacy Workshop!

This session will empower attendees with advocacy training and information like that received during AAM's Museums Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C. -- but with an Ohio-centric focus. Attendees will learn from seasoned museum advocates from around the state about what every museum employee can do to help advance their institution's mission, how to start and continue your advocacy efforts - whether through letters, phone calls, personal meetings, and more! Each attendee will also receive valuable advocacy resources to help them speak up for their museum, and the field at large.

Registration for OMA members is $10; $15 for non-members. This workshop will include time for a bring-your-own brown-bag lunch, or a pizza lunch will also be available for purchase.

Visit OMA's website for registration and program details.
