Last Christmas was a time of broken bones and broken hearts for 19-year-old Diana.
Her infant son had suffered 13 broken bones at the hands of his father. He and his twin sister had been taken from her and placed in foster care by authorities.
Her desperate wish was to be reunited with her children in time for Christmas. But that couldn't happen until she proved that she had the stability necessary to provide for their basic needs ... and keep them safe.
Diana found stability in the Family Care Program at Texas Baptist Children's Home in Round Rock. She began the hard work of rebuilding her life. She focused on recovering from the emotional abuse she had suffered, learning to live on a budget, finding stable employment and beginning a savings account.
Can you imagine the difference that a year makes, thanks to donors like you?

A Message from our President
In my office, I have a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. One scrawny, artificial, little bent Christmas tree with one red ball ornament dangling from the top branch.
I like it; it reminds me of many years of watching A Charlie Brown Christmas, from when I was a kid right on up to the present time. It just doesn't seem like Christmas without Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang singing "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing."
