Planting seeds of Happiness ... which sprout in a garden of compassion

This Friday on 4th St is the "turning on of the lights" celebration. We will also begin New Hours that night. We will be open Thursday, Friday and Sat until 7 in our Berkeley Temple/Shop.

As we flow through this season, I am aware of what waters my garden of compassion. Less judging, more understanding, less assuming, more listening ... Focusing on "what we want to become not over come" (Karen La Puma) by giving our attention to the beauty, wonder, joy and love in this world. Trust and say your mantra (words to replace unwanted thoughts in our minds that arise out of old fears). There are so many fear stories, so cheap and easy to spread ... let's tell a vision (Swamibeyondananda's TV) to grow the stories of a world we would love to live in.
A friends' way of planting seeds of these kind of stories was to co-create The Compassion Games ... a game worth playing!
