Enjoy a beach sunset while roasting marshmallows and learning about marine life at Burien's most spectacular park. Bring both a roasting stick for marshmallows and flashlight. Starting at 5:30 pm, shuttle buses will be available at both the Community Center and Seahurst Park's upper parking lot.

Ever wonder what types of birds visit your yard? Learn how to identify common birds, their habits, whether they're permanent or migratory, and how to make your own yard as bird-friendly as possible during this 1-hour presentation on OCTOBER 28. Hosted by Rainier Audubon Society.

Registration for the pool's next sessions is OCTOBER 9. Both daily morning lessons and evening monthly classes are available. Each week, water exercise, lap and public recreational swim are also offered.
