Can't Keep These Deals Bottled Up:

Half-Price Wine at Ray's Restaurants

Go after those Black Friday one-day deals, and then go for the red and white ones. All three Ray's Restaurants are uncorking half-price bottles of wine during their weekly "Wine" Down promotions. Downtown, Ray's in the City offers a selection of more than 30 wines at half the regular price every Saturday from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sunday from 12:30-9 p.m. Ray's on the River honors "Wine" Down hours every Sunday from 5-9 p.m. with half-price savings on more than 50 wines. Ray's at Killer Creek has moved their "Wine" Down day from Friday to Sunday and pours more than 20 wine selections at half price from 12:30-9 p.m. All three locations follow the same fine print: "Wine" Down promotions are not valid on major holidays, with private events or with any other discounts. Plan your shopping strategy to scour the stores Friday and Saturday then relax and review your triumphs over a bottle of wine at your favorite Ray's location...and use that nifty calendar feature to carry this event forward each weekend.

Marlow's Tavern Alpharetta Celebrates

10 Years with Specials on November 26

Marlow's Tavern Alpharetta opened its doors in 2004, the same year "wardrobe malfunction" entered our phraseology, the Olympics ran back to their Athens, Greece roots, and the movie "The Incredibles" recognized mom and dad as the superheroes they are. Yes, it's incredible that a decade's flown by -- and all the more reason for Marlow's Tavern to celebrate its 10th anniversary on November 26 with food and drink specials from 6 p.m. until closing, giveaways and live music from Ben Wade. Stop in and enjoy specials like the slider plate, including the turkey burger with goat cheese and Smokehouse burger, a burrata cheese appetizer and complimentary sweet treats. Select libations are $5 each. Score giveaways galore from 7-10 p.m. Complimentary champagne toasts all around when Marlow's announces the lucky guest winning the big prize -- a complimentary dinner of up to $35 each week for a year!

Gunshow is Packin' Terminus City Family BBQ

for Holiday Gobbling

Even the highly organized may find themselves in a bit of a time crunch over the next few weeks. A house full of family, a full schedule of activities and a kitchen full of turkey trotting recipes to prepare still doesn't quell that quake-causing question of "What's for supper?" Before crying "uncle," call Uncle Kevin Gillespie's Terminus City team. For a limited time, Terminus City Family BBQ Packs will be available for pick up at Gunshow in Glenwood Park. Each family pack is priced at $46 and feeds four to five hungry folk. First, pick your protein -- two pounds of pork or chicken. Sidekicks include a pint of slaw, a pint of potato salad and cookies. Posse landing at your house? Double up and order two packs, one pork and a chicken. Either way, you can add a quart of Brunswick stew for $18. Pick up is available Wednesday, November 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For availability, call 404-380-1886 or email TerminusCity@gunshowatl.com.

"Sale" into RA Sushi for Some Retail Therapy

on Black Friday, November 28

How early are you rising to heed the call of the wild -- parking lots, sales and malls -- on the busiest shopping day of the year? Depending on your endurance level, you may be ready for a RA Sushi Bar Restaurant Retail Therapy break by midmorning or mid-afternoon! RA Sushi is onboard to revive weary shoppers, extending its popular happy hour from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Black Friday, November 28. Relax. The menu posts more than 25 sushi and appetizers priced from $3.39-$8.89, and there's no doorbuster pressure to nab prize morsels such as Viva Las Vegas and Rainbow rolls, "RA"ckin' shrimp, Tootsy maki, pineapple cheese wontons, chicken yakitori and California rolls. A creative cocktail such as the Lotus Blossom or Asian Flirtation along with beer and wine specials might be just the thing to soothe jangled bell jitters, and prices of $3-$7 go easy on the wallet. Guys ready to call it a day before the gals will be thrilled to know RA Sushi has screens in the bar for sports viewing. RA Sushi guests can obtain two hours of validated parking in the 1010 Midtown parking garage off Crescent Avenue.

Tackle the stores then plop down and take on some tacos at the Tin Lizzy's Cantina Mall of Georgia location. The Buford cantina will open early at 10 a.m. on Black Friday, November 28. Along with quesadillas, Tin Lizzy's FlexMex menu boasts more than 25 different tacos filled with veggies, chicken, steak or seafood, plus dips and starters, nachos, soups, salads and sizzling skillets. A margarita or brew melts away mall mania, and the kid's menu keeps the youngsters happy. Closing the mall? This location stays open until 2 a.m. Saturday morning.

10th & Piedmont and G's Midtown are both offering a special happy hour menu Monday through Friday evenings from 5-7 p.m. Pay half the menu price for choice starters and shareable items such as Beets & Blue flatbread, grilled Belgian endive salad, Dynamite fish tacos, lamb sliders, forest mushroom crostini, smoked salmon mousse and roasted beet hummus. The menu extends to heartier fare as well, including jerk mahi mahi, chicken and mushroom ravioli, G's pimento bacon cheeseburger and the smoked turkey melt.
