Help the No Kid Hungry Campaign by Dining Out in September at Marlow's Tavern, Aqua blue and Ray's Restaurants

How many of us wake up each morning and, without thinking twice, pour a bowl of cereal, grab a bagel or blend up a nutrient-dense smoothie? Problem is, some kids in America can't focus on schoolwork and other things because they can't think beyond the gnawing pangs in their stomachs. That's where Share Our Strength comes into the picture with No Kid Hungry campaigns to help fill tummies and feed minds. Marlow's Tavern locations, Aqua blue Restaurant & Bar and all three Ray's Restaurants are on board and eager to be part of the solution by participating in Dine Out for No Kid Hungry. At Marlow's Tavern from September 15-23, each guest donating to the campaign will receive a $5 coupon redeemable at any Marlow's Tavern between October 1 and December 31, 2013. Limit one coupon per donation and one coupon per visit, per guest. Aqua blue is extending the same tempting offer. Ray's Restaurants -- Ray's in the City, Ray's on the Creek and Ray's on the River -- will donate $2 to the cause for each three-course menu meal sold during the month of September.

Hurray for Prix Fixe Deals During

Midtown Restaurant Week

Those happy days of prix fixe menus -- two courses at lunch and three-course dinners -- are here again for one big, delicious Midtown Restaurant Week, September 7-15. Article 14 posts both a $15 lunch menu and a $35 dinner menu on its docket. Bantam + Biddy in Ansley Mall and Chick-a-Biddy in Atlantic Station are crowing about $15 dinner menus. Ormsby's has plans for a hearty $15 lunch break. Fried green tomatoes, buttermilk fried chicken and banana pudding are three Southern favorites available on the $25 dinner menu at South City Kitchen Midtown. Mediterranean flavors fill the $35 dinner menu at Ecco. Those craving seafood should head over to Lure where the $15 lunch and $35 dinner menus are quite the catch. Come on Atlanta, time to eat your way through that Midtown dining bucket list!
