2013 Municipal Population Estimates

Growth Trends Fact Sheet
In late May, the US Census Bureau released the 2013 population estimates for sub-county geographies, including cities, boroughs and townships. This is the third set of municipal population estimates to be released by the US Census Bureau since the 2010 Census.
Since 2010, the population of Pennsylvania has increased 0.6% to 12,773,801. About 79% of the growth can be attributed to townships and 27% to cities. Pennsylvania's boroughs have had a decline in population of about 6%. For the full article, please visit the Growth Trends Fact Sheet.
