Erin Hobbs, MME President 2013-15
Occupation: Newburyport High School - Science Teacher, Granite State College - Adjunct Faculty
MME member since: 2002
Favorite marine topic: Marine fisheries and sustainability - my graduate research focused on the Gulf of Maine fishery
Best MME memory: Trying to film the NMEA conference video "N.M.E.A". We spent time at the New Bedford Whaling Museum and the video ended up getting lost! I enjoy every time I get together with my MME peeps. This group has kept me inspired to be a better teacher and strive for the best. I find great value in the camaraderie within the group and the willingness of everyone to help improve marine science education.
