The Great Game Kit
On November 18, 2014 we held the Your Move! Training here at SCLS. We were lucky enough to have Brian Schwartz of Patchogue-Medford Library share his expertise on board game collecting and programming in the library. Besides learning lingo and the best games for a starter collection librarians in attendance were able to play some board games! Now this wasn't Monopoly and Scrabble! They played fantastic games of strategy, chance, and treasure hunting. Inspired by the training SCLS-YS will soon be circulating The Great Game Kit which will include the six games in the above photo. The kit will circulate to a library for two weeks for your programming pleasure. A sign up sheet will be going out soon. Happy gaming!
