Hampton Bays and Southhampton Animal Shelter

The Hampton Bays Public Library Children's and Teen Departments have collaborated on a series of fundraising events to be held in September and October for the Southampton Animal Shelter. The Shelter's mission is to provide for the welfare of the ever growing number of homeless animals, and, in turn, to place them in permanent caring homes. The Shelter is primarily dedicated to caring for the homeless animals in our community of twenty-two towns. They also rescue dogs from "kill shelters" from across the country and rehabilitate and find loving homes for adult dogs from puppy mills.
