Summer Reading 2014

A message from the New York State Library:

"Evanced has updated the NY Summer Reader with a style fix for the Banner Templates. Regardless of what browser you have used to install the Children's banner in Summer Reader, you will need to use the visual set up button to reapply it.  Whether you are installing for the first time or reinstalling, directions for installing can be found at http://www.nysl.nysed.gov/libdev/summer/smreader.htm#information. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."

Please be sure to reinstall for the correct banners!

LGBTQ Pride Month

According to the Library of Congress, "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month (LGBT Pride Month) is currently celebrated each year in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall riots in Manhattan. The Stonewall riots were a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States."
