What's your soccer playing experience?
I played for Ohio Premier for 7 years and Hilliard FC for one. I played at Hilliard Darby High School, and was a 4-year starter at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University.
What position did you play?
That's kind of a loaded question. I started out as a forward and then got moved to outside mid, and played both up until college, where I only played outside mid. But then my junior year we didn't have many defenders so my coach moved me to outside defender where I had never played before, and that's where I played my last 2 years.
When you aren't coaching, what do you like to do?
I like to spend time with my new husband (We got married February 2nd!), play soccer because I love the game so much, and spend time hanging out with friends.
Do you own any pets?
We own a cat named Squeak and a chocolate lab named Blue.
What is your favorite soccer memory?
Winning the NCCAA National Championship my sophomore year of college. I remember playing in overtime, and after the game, my coach told me that it was hardest he had seen me play. I was happy because I had already played most of the game and was able to play even harder in overtime.
Favorite Restaurant?
Red Lobster is one of my favorites.
Do you have a favorite sport, other than soccer?
My next favorite sport to play is basketball, and my favorite sports to watch are football and basketball.
