Dear Crew Youth Families,
With the Thanksgiving holiday upon us, I would like to take a minute to recognize and reflect upon a few things that we are very thankful for:

All of our Crew Youth players throughout model - your energy, excitement, and love for the game are why we do what we do. -
Our entire Crew Youth coaching staff - your time, commitment to each and every player, and passion for teaching impacts thousands of young people throughout the year. -
Every parent in our system - your dedication and unwavering support for your children, combined with your belief in our philosophies and unique programming, have been outstanding. -
The administrators throughout the model - your passion for connecting with and building your teams on a daily basis are critical to the growth, strength and success of our system. -
Our Crew interns - Kelly, Katie, and Kaycie - who have truly been invaluable and work tirelessly to improve our youth system every day. -
The opportunity to give back and make a difference - the efforts and outcomes in supporting the the Global Down Syndrome initiative have been truly inspiring. We look forward to many similar future opportunities.

Congratulations to the Crew Juniors Gold U15 girls for claiming the championship in the Adidas Germantown Invitational Tournament Nov 17-18 in Germantown, TN. The girls competed in the top division and went 3-0-1, beating top teams from Alabama, Mississippi, and Missouri and tying a top team from Illinois.
This marks the first time coach Simon Davis wins a tournament on penalty kicks. Way to get the PK monkey off your back! Great job girls! |
HIGH SCHOOL BOYS SHOWCASE SKILLS IN RALEIGH

The Pre-Academy U16 and U18 and the Gold U16, U17, and U18 Boys teams started their seasons at the CASL College Showcase in Raleigh, North Carolina this past weekend. This is one of the top College Showcases in the country with over 300 college coaches attending. The event was a great start to the season and a success overall for the teams, providing good competition, college recruiting exposure, a professional environment and great weather over the three days. The trip home was highlighted by the teams creating a music video parody to Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe. Enjoy the video below!

 What teams do you coach?Crew Juniors Black U15 Girls, Crew Juniors West Black and Silver U13 Girls and Skill Academy (which is so much fun!)
What is your soccer playing experience?
I played 4 years of college soccer at Texas Tech University as right full back. (photo)
What is your favorite soccer tournament? Why?
The Bay Village Tournament in Cleveland is my favorite. It has really nice facilities and is well organized.

My sister and I both scored our first collegiate goals playing in the same game.
Who is your favorite current Crew player?
When you aren't coaching what do you like to do?
I play soccer in adult games 3 to 4 times a week. I love to hang out with my 2 kids, Ryan 6 and Riley 4. |
SPRING TRYOUTS - New Players

Welcome to all the new Crew Youth families who have joined us during the spring tryout process! We will hold a final supplemental tryout for all players who are interested in joining our teams for the Spring. These tryouts are to fill open spots on existing teams and in some occasions new teams will be formed. Spread the word to your friends!
