CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Angel Bay Nursery is available for your infant, toddler or child from 9:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. each Sunday.

Sunday School.  Sunday school is offered at the contemporary worship services - (10:00 a.m.).

Sunday School Volunteers Needed.

The kids are back in school and fall is quickly approaching! We are transitioning back to two services of children's Sunday School on September 14 (9:30 & 11am) which means we need twice as many volunteers each week! Please check out the SignUpGenius link for times that we are in need of volunteers to teach and help with Godly Play and  elementary-aged Sunday School.

Additionally, we need parents and volunteers willing to lead the Sunday School classes. Parents and volunteers, please commit to two Sundays of volunteering between now and December.  We need everyone's help to keep our program outstanding for our CUC Kids!  If you are interested in being trained as a teacher please contact our Children's Ministry Coordinator, Katie Gaertner, at  [email protected].

Children's Sunday School Check-out Procedure.  Parents, please remember to be diligent with picking your kids up from the Sunday school classroom. Teachers and Shepherds are being reminded of this protocol as far as only releasing kids when parents are present. Safety is always an expectation and we would like to continue to have a safe and secure place for our children. PLEASE remind your children that they are to wait for you before they can leave the classroom at the end of Sunday School.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Worship  We'll continue to worship together at the 10am service on Aug 31 and Sept 7, but will not have Mystery Lunches on these dates.

Take a Break  !It's officially that time-in-between our Summer Youth Group season and the start of our Fall program.  This is when we take a little break to let everyone get geared up for school, settle into a new routine, and finish the last minute weekend get-aways that mark the end of summer.  Fall Youth Group resumes Sept 10! Be sure to get the latest updates on the Youth program through texts.  If you are not already on the text list, text your contact info to Carla at 303-594-0127 or email [email protected].

VOLUNTEER CORNER

Kitchen Cleaning Crew.  Thank you so much for those of you who have volunteered to help Josie work in the kitchen.  So far, 13 people have stepped up, so there's still plenty of room to join in the fun - fun - really?  Well, it kind of is, really.  If we had 20 or 30 people, we would be able to keep the kitchen so much cleaner.  We could have a rotating schedule, so your duty would only be once or twice a year!  Call Josie at (303) 241-8797 if you think you might be interested.

Contact Josie in the office, or at j[email protected].
