California Competes Tax Credit Workshop 
October 15 in North County 
$200M in Tax Credits Available this Fiscal Year

The California Competes Tax Credit was created to help businesses that want to move to California or stay and grow in California.  

The Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (Go-Biz) has set aside 
$75 million this round of the $200 million available for this fiscal year. The second round application process begins on January 4, 2016 and closes January 25, 2016.

You're invited to a free workshop to learn more about the application process co-hosted by Wells Fargo, Innovate 78 and the City of Carlsbad.

33 San Diego companies have won $19.9 million in tax credits since the program's launch. Join companies such as GD NASSCO ($2,000,000), BAE Systems ($1,550,000) Underground Elephant ($165,000), Modern Times ($60,000), and iboss Cybersecurity ($320,000) that were awarded credits during the last fiscal year.
