Escondido's Wineries and Craft Breweries Gather at Cruisin Grand on September 18

Local wineries will take a short break from their busy crush season to offer samples of their best vintages in collaboration with Cruisin' Grand on Friday, September 18 from 5-8 p.m. on Maple Street Plaza. Craft beer will be generously provided by Offbeat Brewing Company and Stone Brewing Co. Purchase your tickets now before they sell out!
Mayor's Town Hall Meeting September 16

Escondido Mayor Sam Abed will hold a Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, September 16 at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 201 N. Broadway. Following a brief update by the Mayor, residents will be welcome to ask questions or share their thoughts on any topic relating to city government. The event is free and no reservations are required.
 
The meeting will be videotaped and rebroadcast the following Sunday and Monday evening at 6 p.m. on Cox Ch.19 and AT&T U-Verse Ch. 99.
H2O(h) No! - Drought Solutions Programs

A series of three free consecutive programs providing insight into California's current water situation and possible solutions will be held at the Escondido Public Library on September 22, October 27 and November 3.
 
H2O(h) No! covers practical strategies for water conservation presented by leading experts from the City's Utilities Department, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, gray water consultants and local home owners who have converted their yards to water-wise gardens. Register now to find out what you can do to conserve water and save money.
 
2nd Annual Escondido Business Walk - September 24

On Thursday, September 24, volunteers from the City of Escondido and Escondido Chamber of Commerce will visit businesses throughout the city to conduct a brief business retention survey. This is a great opportunity for businesses to communicate directly with the City and Chamber of Commerce on the issues that are most important to them.
