It's Official! 5 Cities Launch Innovate 78 to Boost Economic Development
 
The five cities of Escondido,
San Marcos, Vista, Oceanside and Carlsbad held a brand unveiling event at Cal State San Marcos
on April 7 to launch Innovate 78 - a Web site and regional brand designed to attract, retain and grow businesses across the 78 Corridor.

Every Friday night through September, Downtown Escondido will be transformed into "Hot Rod Heaven" with classic cars, live music and now - local wineries and craft breweries! This season, eight local wineries, plus Escondido's own Offbeat Brewing Company and Stone Brewing Co. will be offering tastes of their wine and craft beer amidst the festivities on Maple Street Plaza.
