Congratulations to BlissLights 

BlissLights was honored by the San Diego North Economic Development Council (SDNEDC) at their annual luncheon in December. Founded in 2006, BlissLights creates unique lighting experiences for theme parks, special events and home use. Having experienced tremendous growth and success in the last several years due to their innovative products, they were a perfect nominee for the SDNEDC award.

This past fall, volunteers from the City of Escondido and the Escondido Chamber of Commerce spent a day visiting dozens of local businesses in the first annual Escondido Business Walk. Modeled after an event held in Vista since 2011, the Business Walk allowed City and Chamber officials to personally speak to business owners about their successes and challenges, and guide future economic development efforts. Results from the Escondido Business Walk are compiled into a report that is now available online. Overall, our businesses are happy in Escondido and plan to stay and grow here!
