Food Truck Study The current City of Escondido municipal code does not allow "hot trucks" or food trucks in Escondido. However, given the popularity of gourmet food trucks and inquires from residents, the City is exploring the option of amending the code. A meeting to gather input from the public about this topic will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at 6 p.m. in the Mitchell Room at City Hall, 201 N. Broadway.
