WHAT
Lecture "The Secular Synagogue: Judaism Beyond God"
Millions of American Jews connect more with Jewish culture, history, language, food and experience than with religious belief or ritual practice. Can one integrate a Humanistic philosophy of life, a cultural Jewish identity, and a secular "spirituality"? The Orthodox and the dogmatic atheist both say "No!" Humanistic Judaism says, "Watch us!" Rabbi Chalom will explore this fascinating subject.
