Ride with Trek Travel - February 18th
Join us on Thursday, February 18th for a fun and information packed evening with  Trek Travel to discover the many amazing trips they offer. Make your next vacation one with a view from a bike and enjoy countless new experiences throughout the world or here in the U.S. Their trips are catered for both new and experienced riders and there are accommodations for non-riding guests. This is a FREE event, but we do ask that you let us know you are coming.

Cyclists from across the state are invited to participate St. Joseph Health Gran Fondo benefiting St. Joseph Health System's cancer services. This new ride in Bryan College Station  takes riders through the scenic countryside in the heart of the Brazos Valley. Route options include 40, 70 and 100 miles, and all riders are invited to attend a post-ride party. And for the ultra distance junkies, there is a 500 mile "Prologue Gran Gravel" race, yep, 500 miles!

Come have a "sweet" time with us at our annual Candy Ride as we roll through the beautiful back roads of Fulshear. Starting from our favorite candy store, Sweet Tooth Shoppe, there will be two options, a 35 and 65 mile route with one rest stop. Sweet Tooth will have several goodies on hand and it will be a great opportunity to make some new riding buddies along the way! There is no cost, but please let us know you are coming, we want to have enough candy.

Don't let group riding intimidate you. Come by our Katy location on February 6th to learn proper group riding techniques in preparation for your BP MS 150 ride. This course, led by the League of American Bicyclists, a national organization dedicated to cycling education, is a great way to get comfortable on a bike in time for the big ride in April. In addition to group riding skills, this class will feature information on hydration and nutrition. Two class sessions will be offered from 9am-12pm and 2-5pm.

Riding should be an enjoyable experience; most issues that make riding uncomfortable can be fixed with minor adjustments. This is a FREE clinic, but let us know you're coming.

Join the ride director and past riders for an  information session at our University store on February 9th. This is a 6 day ride for those that are looking for a fun challenge and great ride experience. Sign up for this year's Tour du Rouge taking place from May 1st through May 6th. This extraordinary 6-day ride departs Houston and finishes in New Orleans, giving riders a true first-hand experience along the Gulf Coast. Plenty of memories will be made along the 533 mile distance all while supporting a great cause in the American Red Cross. This ride is fully supported and includes meals, hotel and transportation back to Houston.

Humble Lions Bike Ride will be taking place on Saturday, February 13th featuring route options of 22, 46, and 51 miles. Grab your favorite riding buddy and join hundreds of other cyclists for this BP MS150 training ride. The ride starts at 8:00am and offers a fun and challenging route. This event benefits Handicapped and Diabetic Children and Hearts Scholarship Foundation which goes towards medical student scholarships. We are proud to support this ride. Great country riding with low traffic and gentle rolling hills is what you can expect with this fantastic local ride. Featuring 25, 32, and 50 mile route options there are plenty of aid stations located along the route with good food and drinks. Join fellow riders in the cafeteria after the ride for a hot homemade pancake breakfast cheerfully served by the great students and staff of Waller Junior High. A Bike Barn favorite, this ride benefits Waller Junior High School.

Feb. 23rd: Annual Meeting
Join Bike Houston at their annual meeting and find out what is planned for 2016. Lot's of great accomplishments to review for 2015 and 2016 has a lot of opportunity.
