Bike Around the Bay is right around the corner! There is still time to register for one of the best rides of the year. This is a two-day, 180-mile bicycle ride around Galveston Bay that showcases the natural beauty of the bay and benefits the Galveston Bay Foundation. In its 8th year, Bike Around the Bay provides a unique opportunity to get to know Galveston Bay, offers amazing ride support, fun ferry rides, an overnight in Galveston and some challenging riding. Join the Texas mountain bike racing scene on October 11-12th for some off-road racing action! The Dave Boyd Huntsville Classic is the Houston areas largest mountain biking event, featuring racing from pro category to kids 10 and under. The race takes place on the beautiful trails of Huntsville State Park, so bring the family for a weekend of outdoor fun. Click here for more information.

 

Join us for our 4th Annual Oktoberfest Triathlon at Cross Creek Ranch a premier master planned community located in Fulshear, Texas. Enjoy a great lake swim followed by a beautiful scenic ride and a nice run through this great property. This event will start at 7:25am. We will have a newbie swim wave for those doing their first triathlon. Join BikeHouston on October 25th for the 42nd Annual Moonlight Ramble Bicycle Ride. Since 1973, thousands of riders have lit up the streets of Houston for this amazing fully-supported bicycle ride. Starting from the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston at 11:59pm the ramble will have an 8-mile and 20-mile route. Prizes awarded for best costume and best lighted bike. All riders are required to wear a bicycle helmet and have lights on their bikes. Get information and register here

 

The Third Annual HTX Bike Fest is an all-day festival taking place November 1st at Market Square Park in Downtown Houston. In collaboration with The Downtown District, this festival is designed to bring cyclists and bike enthusiasts from all over the city to one place for one day. Thank you to everyone who participated in our September camp with Chris Carmichael!
