Bike Barn Candy Ride 
with our friends at the Sweet Tooth Candy Shoppe

Join us at our favorite Candy Shop, the Sweet Tooth Candy Shoppe, in Fulshear, for a ride on Sunday, March 16.  We will offer options for a 40 and 65 mile route with a rest stop. Enjoy the countryside as we explore some back roads in the area.  There will be some great surprises from Sweet Tooth and a chance for you to catch up with your riding buddies. The Specialized Test the Best truck is rolling into Houston! Join the folks from Specialized at Memorial Park on Saturday March 8, from 10am - 3pm to test ride the latest performance mountain and road bikes. This is a FREE event, just be sure to bring your helmet, shoes and a valid ID.

Our Westheimer store has relocated to a brand new showroom at Wilcrest and Westheimer! We've got hundreds of bikes, amazing clothing, a Project One custom bike area and all of your fun, familiar staff from the original location. Stop by and say "Hi!", when you're in the neighborhood! Long-Range Master Planning is underway for the future of Memorial Park and YOUR opinion as a cyclist is needed. Just fill out a simple survey by clicking here. The data collected in this survey can help preserve cycling facilities in the park. The last day to take this survey will be on March 11th. Saddle pain is one of the most common problems that plagues cyclists of every level. Join us on Thursday, March 20 at 6pm in the Custom Fit Studio, as we take a look at saddle issues from both a comfort and performance perspective. If you are currently experiencing saddle issues including, chaffing, saddle sores, numbness or pain while riding, this is an excellent opportunity to get advice from our Fit Specialists. Join Karbach Brewing Co. and Bike Barn, on Sunday, March 23, for a day of craft beer, while we cruise the neighborhood. The fun starts at Sherlocks Pub at 1pm, before we move on to bar number two and finish up at Bike Barn Clear Lake for a complimentary tasting.  Grab your friends and your helmets and join us for a day of bikes and fun!




Start your season off with the 3rd Annual No Label Triathlon complete with pizza, beer, and much more.  This year the ladies shirts are pink and the men's are royal blue, and the awards are a great new design.  This event is super fun, flat, and fast. The TWFG Insurance Services Gran Fondo: Texas TMCO™, taking place on Sunday, March 30, benefits the Texas Medical Center Orchestra and the National MS Society.  This BP MS 150 recommended ride will offer 100, 74, 48, and 25 mile routes. All routes are fully supported and will be in the European gran fondo style with interval starts based on skill levels and distances. Help prepare Memorial Park for the Bayou City Art Festival on Sunday, March 15. Together we'll be working to clear brush and heavy limbs, cut down dead trees inside the front loop and spread piles of mulch to make the park beautiful. This spring, the City of Houston
will pilot Sunday Streets HTX
A portion of a great Houston street will be closed to vehicles from 11am-3pm on the first Sunday of each month, beginning in April. With no cars on the road you'll be able to enjoy these streets for walking, running, dancing, riding with friends and family. Streets include parts of White Oak, Washington, Westheimer. Help spread the word!
