Join us on Thursday June 6 for First Thursday presented by Midmain. This block party located at the 3400-3700 blocks of Main Street will host an evening of music, food, drinks and shopping. We'll be out at Double Trouble spinning up drinks on our spin-a-rita machines from 5-6pm - you don't want to miss it. Proceeds benefit Bike Houston and support local cycling advocacy. 

 

The 3rd annual Shadow Creek Ranch Triathlon presented by Christian Brothers Automotive, will be held on Sunday, July 14th. This is a sprint distance triathlon with a 500 meter straight line swim, a 16.8 mile two loop bike course and a 3.23 mile loop run. It is a fantastic event for all ability levels.

Come experience the Tour de France...Houston style. Join us for a fun ride and then stick around for a tour viewing party. The ride will begin at 7:30 am on Saturday, July 6, departing from Bike Barn Clear Lake. Choose between ride distances of 40 and 60 miles. HOU spin start
Houston SpinStart 2013 provides an opportunity for kids between the ages of 7 and 14 to participate in group rides. This year the program will include a short organized ride on June 8 to help kids feel confident and safe on their bicycles and showcase some of Houston's best cycling pathways.

Bike Around the Bay is an incredible ride experience, don't miss it this year. Join about 1,000 other riders as they participate in this fully supported two-day, 180-mile bicycle ride around Galveston Bay that showcases its natural beauty and benefits the Galveston Bay Foundation. Plus, this year a ONE day option has been added. Ride the first day and take off the second day, with options leaving Galveston on Saturday and Sunday.

Join Jeff Chaffin (Sgt/USMC) in his efforts to raise money for friend, Ethan's, first handcycle. Ethan is 7 years old and suffering from Brittle Bone Disease, professionally known as Osteogenesis Imperfecta. Jeff will be out at Memorial Park on Saturday, July 13 to complete his self-challenge of  200 miles in 24 hours. He hopes to raise enough funds in to make certain Ethan has the opportunity to live a healthy lifestyle. Feel free to bring your bikes out and put in some miles alongside Jeff!
