Join us as six outstanding authors of YA from around the country visit the Provo Library as a part of the national Dark Days Tour. The visiting authors include (above, left to right) Dan Wells, Lauren Oliver, Claudia Gray, Kiersten White, and first-time author Debra Driza. In addition, only in Provo, there will be a special guest appearance by Brodi Ashton. This event is free; no tickets required.

We're pleased to welcome Kathy Reichs, the #1 best-selling author and creator of the hit television series Bones, with her son and co-author, Brendan Reichs, as they launch their new book, CODE. Code is the highly-anticipated third installment in ther wildly adventurous New York Times best-selling Virals series for young adults. Meet the authors, and get a book signed or your photo taken. Their books will also be available for purchase on-site. This event is free; no tickets required.

For kids 3 - 12 and their parents or caregivers. Tickets are $5, and include all of the activities, a free book, and a hamburger! 

 

If you'd like, come dressed as your favorite space character! All little guys must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 9 at 9:00 am at the Circulation Desk to Provo Library cardholders. Any remaining tickets will be available to the general public on March 16.

Can boys and reading coexist? They can! Discover the many new book titles aimed at the boy reader including fiction, informational books, graphic novels, and more. This is the second in the Library's Family Literacy Series, and will be presented by Gene Nelson, Provo Library Director. 

 

March 11 - 16 

 

How well do you know your library?


Teens, ages 12-18, pick up a scavenger hunt at the 1st Floor Reference Desk that contains extreme close-up photos of the Library. Then try to figure out where the photos were taken.


Turn it back in by the March 16 at 6:00 pm for a small prize and to be entered in to a drawing for a $25 Barnes and Noble gift card.
