Welcome Grace
Grace is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. She attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia and majored in International Affairs/Political Science. She has lived in Fayetteville for the past four years, ever since her mom was stationed at Ft. Bragg.
Grace is very involved in her local church and love to travel. She has lived all across the eastern seaboard and loves visiting national parks and eating Ben & Jerry's ice cream.

Pringle selected for Fayetteville's Forty Under 40
Congratulations to L. Ron Pringle for being nominated to Fayetteville's Forty Under 40 class of 2014. After joining CCAP during 2012 as Operations Manager, Pringle was appointed Food Bank Director November 2013.
Pringle came to Second Harvest Food Bank and CCAP from the Low Country Food Bank in Charleston, SC.

Congratulations to the Community Development Grant Recipients
During 2013, through our Community Development Grant Program, SHFB offered faith-based
and nonprofit food providers refrigeration equipment
at no cost to 12 members agencies through the
Wal-mart Foundation.
The chosen applicants had to prove that they were
in compliance with Food Bank's policies and
procedures via a grant submission.

A second round of grants will be offered later this spring for the remaining coolers.

Sign up for the 2014 CROP HUNGER WALK
The City of Fayetteville has approved holding the CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, April 13, 2014. The main route is 5K and we have a 1 Mile short route. The running/walking begins at 3PM following
registration. We begin at Evans Metropolitan AME Zion Church on N Cool Spring St., downtown.
Participants may run or walk either route. Runners will
start before the walkers. There is police
coverage at cross walks and water stations along the route. Participants with dogs are asked to start last and are required to clean up after their pet.
