Brenda Pleasants and Nakita Bellamy

Congratulations to Brenda Pleasants and Nakita Bellamy for their success in identifying children for the Early and Pre-School programs that qualified for special needs services. In both Early and Pre-School CCAP exceeded historic numbers in the identification and enrollment of children--and for Pre-School entered in the triple digits for the first time.
"By identifying these children we are able to provide the child with extra educational support and it helps catch up in areas where they might be delayed," says Brenda Pleasant, Special Needs Coordinator.

2013 ROMA Training
|
More than 50 CCAP employees gathered on June 27 for part 2 training on ROMA. The four hour session focused on twitter as a tool to communicate CCAP ROMA goals. ROMA, or Results Oriented Management and Accountability, is the national standard for measuring the success of community action agencies nationwide. The training was led by Cynthia Wilson, CCAP CEO. This training allowed other departments to come together as a team and collaborate about what they would like to see in the future.
