Declaring the "Good News" of Jesus Christ

São Paulo, Brazil
São Paulo is the largest city in Brazil and is the most populous city in the western hemisphere with a population of around 20,000,000 people.

Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, tread, for the wine press is full; The vats overflow, for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision... Joel 3:13-14

THANK YOU for your partnership in spreading the Gospel! Lives are being eternally changed!
500+ SAVED!!!
ONE YEAR AGO on October 9, 10 and 11 the efforts of All Nations Ministries and our amazing supporters brought to fruition the Rio Claro, Brazil Gospel Crusade in the city's soccer stadium. It was a historical event that had never occurred before. One pastor said, "We have no memory of any event like this where various denominations work together in unity to preach Jesus Christ to the city at large." It was truly a glorious and historic moment that has changed the landscape of the body of Christ in Rio Claro. Over 500 people gave their lives to Jesus Christ for the first time! Many were also healed of numerous ailments and sicknesses. To God be all the Glory!

Testimonies

On this one year anniversary mark from the Rio Claro Gospel Crusade, we received several Facebook messages testifying to what God had done.
Here are a few... (Translated from Portuguese to English).

"I lived one of the miracles. I arrived with a urine infection at the church, and after prayer, I felt free and never had anything anymore, I learned a lot from you, I learned to be touched by God, to receive the fire of the Spirit, and I could pray and my son feel the same, I praise God for you, miss you!"
-Natalia Antunes (Rio Claro, Brazil)

"I was there and received my miracle. And for the glory of God I can move fast, swimming, climbing and descending stairs. Hallelujah, the inflammation of the sciatic left! Those were incredible nights of spiritual renewal! Glory to God!"
-Raquel Fiorio Dikerts (Rio Claro, Brazil)

"They were nights of miracles."
--Jorge Luiz Frasnelli (Rio Claro, Brazil)

The "Great Commission" is not the the "Great Suggestion." The Bible clearly says that multitudes of people are at the point of decision. Evil and wickedness are great in the land and people are looking for truth and hope. Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me." This means that we need to make sure that the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is declared in the cities, highways, and byways. This means we that we are to reach outside of the four walls of a church building so that the world can hear and make a decision to put faith in Jesus Christ.

Truly, the world is in crisis and the multitudes are in the valley of decision looking for the TRUTH!

The heart of All Nations Ministry is to work in unity with the local body of Christ in communities to help bring to the public square the salvation message of Jesus Christ.

GOOD NEWS

We are now working to decide on our next crusade location in Brazil. When the date and place are confirmed we give you all of the details!

NEEDED: We are raising the funds to purchase our own sound system here in the United States. The cost is about $30K. In Brazil this same equipment would cost well over 100K. The sound system is a vital tool that we will use to go into communities and preach the gospel in public venues and preach the Good News.

So faith comes from HEARING, that is, HEARING the Good News about Christ. Romans 10:17

LIGHTS, CAMERA... ACTION!

As you may remember from our last e-newsletter, we have been documenting and preparing a promo video specifically for the orphanage in Campos do Jordão, Brazil. Steven Tader and Carlos Lima went to Brazil in July to film and photograph for this project. We are hoping this promo video will be ready very shortly.  We are looking forward to sharing it with you and the world!

THE NEXT CHAPTER

The great thing about a great story is the anticipation of what happens next. Our recent time back in the states has been filled with lots of preparing, as we are just about 8 weeks away from returning to Brazil.  We will not be returning to Rio Claro, but will be setting up the All Nations Ministry base in Campos do Jordão, Brazil. There is tons to do as we need to find and secure housing and navigate through all of the logistics involved in such a move.

Often we ask ourselves, how is everything going to work out? We have experienced and learned that the Lord is always faithful. It is amazing how God works through people. We have witnesses this through our ministry supporters that have been standing with All Nations and us as a family. We pray for each of you and thank God personally for you!

CHURCH OF HOPE

We had the great honor of ministering at the Church of Hope an inner city
church in Kansas City, Kansas last month.  Pastor Ben and Rachel Marscelus are doing a fantastic job reaching out to the people in this part of the city.
We encourage you to visit one Sunday and help them in this inner city work.

I BELIEVE IT IS POSSIBLE!

Right now we stand at the best time and opportunity. The Brazilian Real is devalued against the dollar this month at 70%. A record low! What does this mean? One year ago today it would take 3.7 million U.S. dollars to buy the property for the orphanage.Today, it will take 2.1 million. The exchange rate it at a record of $1.00 to R$3.87. I believe with God ALL things are possible!

HOW CAN WE ACCOMPLISH THE TASK OF ESTABLISHING THE CHILDREN'S HOME?

1. THROUGH PARTNERSHIP:
With one or a few it is difficult, but with many it becomes not only a possibility but a reality. If 1,000 people become a monthly sponsor for the orphanage, we can buy the property and begin the work to rescue kids. Would you become one of the founding partners?

"I BELIEVE IT IS POSSIBLE TO SEE THIS CHILDREN'S HOME BECOME A REALITY."

Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you. Leviticus 26:8

If you want to become one of the "Founding Partners" for the Sozo Mountain Children's Home then click on the link below and begin today.

2. THROUGH ADVOCATES: Do you have a heart for a child that has no mother and father? Do you know someone who does? Are you willing to get involved as an advocate for these kids who have no voice? Do you want to help get others involved? Then you can help and be a Sozo Mountain Children's Home Advocate! In this role, you will mobilize and speak to people on behalf of the Children's home to help reach the goal of 1,000 founding partner supporters.

We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf... 2 Corinthians 5:20

If you want to be an orphan advocate and help represent and promote the work of the Sozo Mountain Children's Home click on the link below and contact us.

The All Nations ministry is working to purchase a 30-acre property in Campos do Jordão, Brazil (pictured below). This property will allow us to rescue and house 100+ kids. This is a HUGE undertaking and we need your prayers and help. This center will also function as a missions base where we will receive people and groups for short, mid-term or long-term missions trips.

Débora's Column
I just LOVE this time of the year! I can't get enough of the weather, the trees changing color, the anticipation of the holidays with family and friends, and.... pumpkin spice EVERYTHING!
We have been busy planning, praying, sharing and meeting several great people that God has put in our paths. It just continues to amaze me how He creates connections and puts people together. I look forward to all the incredible people that we have yet to meet in this journey!
I had the opportunity to interprete a service for a different preacher a few weeks ago, and let me say that I am a little 'rusty' now having been here for so long and not using Portuguese as much and that I'd rather interprete for Mike any day than for any other preacher! I didn't realize how used I had become to interpreting for him. Its like I know where he is going and I know what he's going to say - someone else... not so much!
As we count down to all the festivities, we also have started our countdown to heading back to Brazil. I have to tell you that there are so many emotions about it going on in my head and my heart. I am beyond excited to get back and hit the ground running with ministry and continuing the process for Sozo to become a reality. The other part of my heart is trying to figure out how to say goodbye to a child and be ok with it... I know without any doubt that God takes way better care of her than I could ever dream of, but the mom in me is having what I call a little 'come to Jesus' moment. So thankful that I can do anything through Him because of His strength in me.
We have been so blessed to spend this time in the US with our families and friends. We are looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with Mike's family in florida and Christmas here in KC - I hope it snows! Swimming on Christmas Day last year just felt weird.
I pray that you feel Jesus' presence in these comings days. I pray that you feel His love poured out over your life. I pray that you experience the freedom that really comes with knowing Him and giving Him your heart. I pray that any sadness will be turned into joy and laughter.
Thank you so much for loving and caring about our family!
We love you all!

Débora

If you would like us to come to your church, home group, office or perhaps you know a pastor that loves missions,  please contact us and let us know. We also love to share one-on-one over coffee.

Fun Facts
 About Brazil

Brazil is hosting the 2016 Summer Olympics

There are many foreign language schools (especially English) all around the country.

Schools and businesses close during national soccer games.

Brazil has the second highest number of airports in the world after the U.S.

Brazilian prisoners can reduce their sentence by 4 days for every book they read.

92% of all new cars sold in Brazil use Ethanol, produced from sugar cane.

The people are friendly and so amazing!
When will we be heading back to Brazil...

We have less thank 8 weeks before our return to Brazil. Débora has recently received her U.S. citizenship and is all set for travel.
One of our goals for the next couple of months is to network with people, churches and businesses to share the vision of our missions work in Brazil.  We honestly need more support to be free from worry and limitations so we can focus on the task before us.
The girls will have mandatory school testing in Kansas early December,  which we are staying here for and Isabella will be getting set to attend KU in January.
With that said, not much happens in Brazil during December and the New Year, so we are strategizing that mid-January will be our most likely return date to Brazil.
