A Sweet Time Had by All! 
Thanks to all the moms and daughters who attended my Two Hearts Yoga Workshop this past weekend!

The workshop was filled to capacity and such a lovely time was had by all!  I appreciate all the positive feedback and how everyone enjoyed the "magic carpet" ride during Shavasana.  I applaud these mothers for knowing the importance of teaching their girls how to tune into their bodies and feelings at such an early age and the need to get away from computers and spend time with exercise.   Everyone enjoyed creating a special heart momento craft at the end too as shown above and below.  What a blessed day! 



 




FRIENDS HELP FRIENDS STAY FIT!

When you refer a friend to the studio that joins you as a Fitness Friend for training sessions of 2 or 3 friends training together you get winning results and rewards! Having a fitness buddy can help you outside of the studio to stay on track as well with special programs Jackie creates for you that works together but still has your personal fitness needs and goals in mind. 
 
Groups of 3 start at just $25 an hour, and two friends train together for Just $39 an hour! Groups may include grandparents and grandkids, sisters, brothers, etc.



It's also great fun to train with your spouse! Many of the couples I work with see this as a special date -- and instead of gaining weight with eating out you are losing weight and building fun memories!

Don't have the Agony of De-Feet!

The human body is susceptible to movement dysfunctions and neuromusculoskeletal imbalances. Some causes may include repetitive movements, overuse, sedentary living, and improper movement techniques. These dysfunctions in turn lead to many of the common injuries seen in an active population.

 

FeetThe foot and ankle complex may greatly influence the entire human movement system. This region represents the platform from which our base of support is derived and is the main contact point between the ground and the body. As such, it must withstand a high amount of contact force (ground reaction force) with each step taken.

 

As the body is an interconnected chain (kinetic chain), compensation or dysfunction in one region such as the foot and ankle may lead to dysfunctions in other areas of the body.

 

A common problem ssociated with these foot issues is plantar fasciitis.
