     (4 pm Central/ 3 pm Mountain/ 2 pm Pacific)

Welcome to an evocative exploration of our personal search for deeper meaning as sages - "being love" in an anxious world. The essence of this potent topic is to consider widening our views of the power of the heart, the transformative energy of love, and its influential aspects beyond what our culture generally acknowledges. Human evolution involves shifting from fear to love, and we evolve by connecting to the wisdom of our heart. Personal growth and conscious development in this regard truly matters in furthering the whole world's advance; and elders play a key role.

Dr. Marilyn Loy Every, CSL, holds a Doctor of Ministry in Wisdom Studies with a focus on Aging, and Certification in Spiritual Direction. She has an MA in Counseling Psychology, and an MS in Audiology. She specializes in aging issues, communication strategies, life transitions, loss and grief, spiritual companioning, and sacred circle groups. She facilitates seminars on conscious sage-ing leadership and is an officer in Sage-ing International. Her books include:  "Women and the Liberating Journey of Aging: Awakening Fire in the Heart," "Fire in the Well: Poetry for Women Awakening the Inner Sage,"  and  "Tending the Fire: Poetry for the Emerging Sage."

Responding to Marilyn's presentation will be panelists Mel Bricker and Gail Braverman.

Gail is a Certified Sage-ing Leader, a practicing Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Certified Art Therapist based in San Diego, California.

Mel is an ordained minister who studied with Matthew Fox, served as his personal assistant, and then served as Co-director of the Doctor of Ministry program at the former University of Creation Spirituality, in Oakland, California.
