Living longer gives us opportunity to grow whole and not just old, to live our life so we don't have regrets at the end.
Using the frame of a "puzzle," we'll focus on "puzzle pieces" such as finances, health and wellness, spirituality and relationships (which includes shifts in our identity, changing expectations and the importance of intimacy and sexuality as we age.) How do the "puzzle pieces" in your life impact each other? Which ones are in your control? What are ways to "puzzle out" how you want to design the next stage of life and have important conversations with loved ones, so you can create your own "individual vision" and a "shared vision" for this life stage?
It's a choice we make: Will you embrace a paradigm shift of aging and view your "bonus years" as a time of new possibilities, a time to grow, learn and evolve and become a conscious elder? Or will you do "aging by default?" The choice is yours!
