The complete schedule can be found here.

This year the Hyacks will travel to Chilliwack for a portion of fall camp, departing at 9 am on Wed, Aug 26th and returning on Fri, Aug 28th. This will be an overnight camp with players staying at CFB Chilliwack for 2 nights. All meals and transportation will be provided at no additional cost. All players are expected to attend. We ask that players arrive at Mercer on Aug 28th by 8:30 pm packed and ready to go.

YOUTH FOOTBALL UP AND RUNNING

The Royal City Hyacks youth football program has already been practicing for much of the summer. On Saturday the Pee wee Hyacks scored on a final play TD pass to defeat Cloverdale in their tournament. Last weekend most of the teams and cheerleaders took part in the Langley tournament and placed very well. Both Jr Bantam and Atom teams finished 3-1 and took 2nd place in their respective divisions. Four flag teams also took part with all of them faring well. All Hyack teams will open the regular season on Monday, September 7th with a full slate of games at Mercer Stadium.

While registration has now filled up for most of the teams, our pee wee team is still looking for more players. If you know of anyone aged 10-11 (2004-2005) that is still interested in joining, please have them register online here

HELP WANTED

With the season just around the corner, the Varsity Hyacks are looking for help in a number of areas off the field. The most pressing need is for a Game Night Coordinator. If you are interested please contact coach Lalji at [email protected] to get more details. But there are a number of smaller roles also available. Our program has always received outstanding parent and community support, so we expect 2015 will be no different. We look forward to hearing from you.
