TEXAS TRIP IN 2014

Parents, you may have already heard, but in 2014 we are planning to take both the varsity and JVs to Texas, the Mecca of Football, for the trip of a lifetime. The tentative dates are Aug 24 to 31 and the plan is for both teams to play in games against Texas high schools. Cost of the trip will be approximately $1200 to $1400. There will be a parents meeting on Thursday, January 9th at 7 pm in the NWSS Library to go over more details. Please make every effort to attend.

HYACK FOOTBALL SAYS THANKS AND FAREWELL TO RYAN LESLIE

2013 marks the end of an era in Hyacks Football as Ryan Leslie
and his family will be leaving New Westminster and relocating to Seattle, WA. Coach Leslie helped launch the NWSS high school program in 2003, and in 2007 took over the RCHFC youth program. Under his direction, the youth program has seen tremendous growth and as a result he won the VMFL's Builders Award last year. We wish Ryan, his wife Amy and sons Liam and Casey all the best in the future and say thanks for all of your contributions. And remember coach, "Once a Hyack, Always a Hyack!"
