The JV Hyacks are doing damage on both sides of the border, with a 31-0 win at Mt Vernon HS in Washington. After a Hyack safety, Adrian Cagampan gave the visitors an 8-0 lead at halftime. In the 3rd quarter Jamie Shiho returned a punt for touchdown, then later found Gurvir Ghuman in the endzone for the 3rd straight game. Nick Hauka scored the game's final points on a QB sneak in the 4th quarter. The Hyack defense posted its 3rd straight shutout.

The JVs are now 4-0 (1-0 in league) and play host to Terry Fox HS this Thursday at Mercer Stadium at 5:30 pm, in a game featuring two of the top JV teams in the province.

The Hyack Jr Bantams improved to 4-0 with a 30-0 win at Coquitlam. Broxx Comia had a huge game on offense with a pair of touchdowns including a 70+ yarder. Cody Stevens had a strong defensive game with numerous open field tackles. Kinsale Phillips rounded out the scoring for the Hyacks, who have now outscored the opposition by a combined 175 to 6 margin.

Earlier in the day the Hyack Atoms defeated Coquitlam 22-0. The offense scored a season high in points, with TDs coming from Phillip Marin, Jaxson Domville and Dyson Glavas. The defense, led by Colin Van Den Driesen, Darius Louis-Charles and Jacob MacCumber did not allow a single first down.
