HYACKS BACK AT MERCER FRIDAY
The Hyacks will play host to Belmont HS of Victoria on Friday at Mercer Stadium. Please note the early 5 pm start time, in order to accommodate Belmont's travel schedule. The Hyacks come into this game with a 3-1 record, following a disappointing loss at Mt Douglas last Friday. Belmont meanwhile is a newcomer to the AAA level, and comes into this game with an impressive 3-0 record, following a 41-0 win over West Van.
Following this game, the Hyacks won't play at Mercer again for another month, so fans and all members of the Hyacks Football Family are encouraged to attend on Friday night

JV HYACKS REMAIN UNDEFEATED
The JV Hyacks opened league play with a 34-0 win at Seaquam last Wednesday. Jamie Shiho opened the scoring on a QB sneak, then later found Gurvir Ghuman who made a diving catch in the endzone. Adrian Cagampan scored a pair of 3rd quarter TDs, before Trew Dancey scored the final TD of the game on a 68 yard run. Brian Cagampan, Marcel Wang and Rochon Bhattacharya stood out on both sides of the ball, as the Hyacks defense has now posted back to back shutouts.
The JVs are now 3-0 (1-0 in league) and travel to Mt Vernon, Washington for a game this Wednesday at 5 pm. Players will need to check into their block C classes, before meeting at the locker room at 12:30 pm. The bus leaves at 1 pm. All players will need to bring ID with them. Passports are preferred, but proof of citizenship is acceptable.

YOUTH FOOTBALL CELEBRATES 10 YEARS
Even the rain for much of the day couldn't dampen the enthusiasm for Hyack Football "Spirit Day" at Mercer Stadium. Pictures, decorations, cupcakes and footballs were flying all day.
The day started with the first-ever mini-tyke flag games for 4-6 year olds. All teams were in action, and it ended with the JBs defeating North Surrey 44-6. Christian Roadilla had a great game on both sides of the ball, with numerous tackles for losses. Zachery Northgrave had a good game kicking the ball, which led to a pair of recoveries. The JBs are now 3-0
Thanks to all of the parents and volunteers for their efforts in making this event very special for all who attended.
Scores in other Hyacks Youth Football:
Atom: WRSS Titans 20 Royal City Hyacks 21 PeeWee: Royal City Hyacks Orange 6 Langley Cowboys 37 Royal City Hyacks Black 46 Richmond Raiders 0
