Dear Hyde Park Families,

Here's a great parenting idea from the Rethink group--
"For a week straight (or longer if you're up for it!), write down positive words that describe your child. Tape the words to their bedroom door before they wake up each morning."

Wednesday night programming & dinner begins tonight: Jr. Zone (3-4-K), Zone (Grades 1-3), Club 45 (Grades 4-5). Learn practical ways to live out your faith while having fun! Everyone is welcome, whether a regular attender or not, so invite your friends! RSVP if your child(ren) will be participating in programming.

Sept. 13: MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Craft and Chat Resumes (2nd Tuesday of each month), 9:30 a.m., Wesley Center Room 308.

Sept. 18 is a HUG-E date for our 3rd Graders & their families! Bible presentations in the worship services, Bible Boot Camp begins and 3rd Grade Bible Parent Faith Steps class begins. Learn more.

First Family Fun Night is Sep. 23, 6-8 p.m.
Do you like to have fun and see others have fun? Then we are looking for you! Please let us know if you could help us at our First Family Fun Night! We have volunteer shifts available.  Email Kristin. More event information here.
In the month of September, our nursery and preschool children are learning that I can trust God. Help teach your children that 'I can believe what God says' by using this week's parent cue - click here.

This Sunday's Lesson - Sept. 11    

Our nursery and preschool children will be learning through the story of Noah, Genesis 8:1-9:17 that "God keeps his promises."

Our elementary students will be learning through the story of Joseph, Genesis 37, 39:1-2 that "When you think you're alone, you can trust God is with you."
